Real-Touch Tulips in Ceramic Pot

Tulips are the hardest flower to fake. These are the ones that pass.

Why tulips catch people out

A tulip petal is thick, slightly waxy and cupped, and it reflects light in a way thin silk cannot. These use a real-touch coating with the right weight, so the giveaway is gone.

The stems bend because real ones do

Cut tulips keep growing in the vase and lean toward light, which is why a stiff upright faux tulip looks wrong. These have wire cores. Bend two or three out of line and the whole arrangement reads as alive.

Arrives potted and finished

Set into a glazed ceramic pot with a moss top dressing, so there is nothing to arrange. Take it out of the box and put it down.

Where it earns its place

Small enough for a bedside table, a windowsill or a desk. A real potted tulip lasts about two weeks and then you throw it away. This one is out every spring for a decade.
